Hi, my name is Tammy Eldrich, and I am one of the Chief Editors here at TheFlyingDiscs.com. I started playing disc golf years ago with a single driver and putter that I borrowed. Since then, I have amassed my own collection of drivers, putters, and mid-range discs and I head out to throw them every chance I get. I learned a lot about the sport and the overwhelming happiness that one feels when they sink their first par. I now stand ready to assist others in adding this glorious sport to their own lives.
TheFlyingDiscs.com is run by a team of people that play disc golf as well as ultimate frisbee and everything else you can do with a disc. Our mission is to inform, encourage, and educate everyone that’s interested in these amazing sports, whether they are noobs or seasoned pros.
I know I’ve had seasons when I felt like I wasn’t improving as I should be. Our desire is to create content that will help people in that situation improve their game and find their sweet spot. You don’t always need to hire a pro to help you with your drive if you can find the information on the internet, and we think that’s pretty cool.
We are as obsessed with bringing you the latest and greatest news and helpful tips for these sports as we are with getting out there and crushing chains on our own. We will provide everything an enthusiast might look for including things like what the numbers mean on the top of a disc to how to correct grip lock, level out your drive, and putt like a pro.
If you are a disc golfer, a fan of ultimate frisbee, or everything in between we welcome you to our site and our community. We hope you find our plentiful resources helpful and we would love to hear from you. Feel free to contact us whether it’s a comment on one of our posts or a private message to our team — we look forward to hearing from you.
